Meet the Team

Emily

Emily is a young woman with long curly brown hair and brown eyes. She is wearing a blue sweatshirt and holding a cylindrical pot with black smokey dots and squiggly lines indicative of Raku firing.
Emily just started pottery in January of 2022 with her first class at a local community studio. She was instantly hooked and took two more classes after that. She's now exploring on her own in her makeshift home studio. In this photo she is holding one of her most favorite pots that she decorated at a Raku firing which involves heating up the pots in outdoor kilns and throwing combustable materials on it to get a variety of aesthetic affects. On this piece she used horsehair and sugar!



NAVI
Navi is a black cat with green eyes. In this photo he is sitting on top of the pottery wheel with his tail in the (clean) splash pan.
Navi is the final member of the team and is really more of an anti-team member whose only goal is to halt all progress with pottery. Whether he's sitting on the wheelhead or interrupting photoshoots, this guy makes sure nothing gets done. His favorite hobby is drinking mud (throwing water).
